Business Attraction, Expansion and Retention
At Plumas Corporation, we are actively engaged
in working with businesses that may be
interested in expanding or relocating to the
county. This effort is aimed at promoting
the value-added benefits of doing business from
the county and also working closely at all
levels to assist companies with solutions to
make the transition smooth and cost effective.
We are actively seeking businesses which will
maintain the quality of our mountain communities
and the environment.
Another primary goal is to work closely with the businesses already located
here to help with their expansion plans or to help them overcome challenges to
their long term success.
Plumas Corporation shares leads and information on relocation
prospects with regional economic development partners, such as
Upstate California Economic Development Council. Click here and visit
us at their site to learn more about us. Be sure to click on Plumas County
on the map. There you will find informative Plumas County statistical and
demographic data.
We also have the opportunity to tap into these valuable
partnerships for cutting edge advice and creative solutions for business
problems or opportunities. Working with the local chambers of commerce and
banks, Plumas Corporation sends out business attraction packages to likely
prospects and referrals.
Business Counseling
Plumas Corporation provides counseling to
businesses, including start ups, who wish to
expand or relocate to the county.

the business. Among the wide variety of subjects for counseling are:
